01About this policy
This policy governs your use of Iris, the Aphelion image studio, and adds to the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy. By using Iris you agree to it.
02Age requirement (18+ for mature content)
You must be at least 13 to use Iris, and at least 18 to generate or view mature or NSFW content. By enabling or requesting such content, you confirm you are 18 or older and that doing so is lawful where you are. We may restrict or disable mature features at our discretion.
03How Iris processes your inputs
When you generate an image, your prompt and any reference images are sent to serverless GPU infrastructure (Modal) that runs the image models, and the result is returned to you. Inputs are processed to fulfil your request. We do not use your prompts or generated images to train our own foundation models, and we ask our compute providers not to use them to train theirs except as needed to deliver the feature.
04Ownership & your responsibility
As between you and Aphelion, and to the extent permitted by law, you own the images you generate with Iris, and you are solely responsible for what you create and how you use it. AI-generated images may resemble existing works or people and may not be protectable or usable in every jurisdiction — you are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful.
05Prohibited content
You must not use Iris to create, request, or distribute:
- any sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — absolutely prohibited, zero tolerance, and reported to authorities;
- sexual or intimate images of real, identifiable people without their consent;
- deceptive deepfakes of real people intended to harass, defame, or defraud;
- content that promotes violence, terrorism, or serious illegal activity; or
- content that infringes others' intellectual-property or privacy rights.
We use safeguards to detect and block prohibited content and may remove content, suspend access, and report violations.

Iris output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, distorted, or unexpected. Images are synthetic and do not depict real events. See the Disclaimer.
